Spain's conservative Popular Party wins snap election, short of majority

In Spain, no clear winner has emerged from Sunday's general elections. The conservative opposition Popular Party has won the most seats, narrowly defeating Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's Socialist Party. But the conservatives still fell short of an absolute majority. Popular Party leader Alberto Nunez Fay-ho will now be given a window to try and form a coalition government. If he fails to do so, the king will give Sanchez a chance to remain in power.
