Installing process is fairly simple and shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. First, place it all the way in front of the bed. Release safety buckles. Next, unfold the cover and align it with the truck bed. Make sure it is symmetrical and sits properly on all four sides.
Once you do that, carefully fold it back without moving it.
Attach front clamps to the bed rails. Depending on your particular vehicle, you might be able to attach the clamps directly to the rails. But if it doesn’t work, use included mounting blocks. Slide them into the rails and then attach the clamps. There are 3 different positions for the clamps. Tighten the clamp knob.
There are also two more safety clamps. They attach directly to the rail and will prevent the cover from flying off, in case the main clamps fail or get loose. The clamps in the back attach in the similar manner, but they have handles instead of knob for quick operation. You can also use the foam strip to seal the gaps in the tailgate, to make your bed more water resistant.

I just tried to put this on and I can't get the back clips to go on properly and the silver hinges it comes with if it doesn't fit your tail gate correctly won't slide all the way to the back. im almost thinking im gonna have to return this im so irritated with it already. spent 15 mins just tryna get the first one locked down correctly and then the second one and now the first one is coming off.

I bought one of these used and the first set of clamps go right on but I think I could benefit from the mounting blocks for the ones closest to the tailgate but they weren’t included. Any idea where I can get a couple? I have searched Amazon but no luck. Thanks!
