Working in the EU
A quick explainer on if you are resident ( Not a naturalised citizen ) of an EU state post-Brexit and you hold British Citizenship .. also a couple of thoughts on Haulage and Cabotage etc .. note no details for now as this will come later for info related to touring arts.

NB it is only EU citizenship which is of course an addition to your country CITIZENSHIP as per the Maastricht treaty that gives the right to move / work etc in any of the EU 27 , Brits with only residence in a host nation only have the rights to work in that country , as you would not have EU citizenship. There are other rules for frontier workers but this really does not affect this discussion for arts workers in this context ...

Please remember all of this is for everyone involved in the delivery and production of creative arts and that includes Crew / Logistics / Merch etc ..

All the best and please do subscribe

FYI: I am a UK citizen, UK passport holder living and working in France. I do not have dual nationality, but would not be a problem obtaining French nationality/passport if I applied for it. Instead I applied for and obtained a French Residency Permit (in accordance with the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement) which allows me to continue working and living in France.
