I'm a massive android and windows fan. HOWEVER, the products that Apple have been releasing recently (especially the M1 MacBooks) have been no less than phenomenal. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but in a few years, I could see myself justifying being in the eco system. I'd probably have to stick to windows though as I'm becoming an Electrical & Computer Engineer so windows or Linux is basically a necessity.

Great info! That's exactly my high school daughters setup. One thing I don't hear a lot about is the Apple trade in policy. Instead of running my products into the ground, I've started seeing how much my trade in gives me if a new release gives me features I want. My daughter had the iPad 8, but when the 9 had more storage and a better camera with center stage for remote classes, I found out I could trade up and only spend $150. I also did not have to deal with Ebay or Facebook Marketplace. I made the mistake of not using my 2015 MacBook Air as a trade in when I could. Now that it no longer holds a charge, Apple will only offer to recycle it for me.

I always thought apple products are overhyped. Everything changed when I bought an IPhone 11 after 12 got released. Their products are so polished and they offer such quality hardware combined with software support for a minimum of 5 years, it’s impossible to find such a good package.

My ecosystem is a base model m1 macbook air, ipad air 4, and iphone 12 mini with airpods pro and I’m so thrilled with the usefulness & ease of use of all of them together

Totally agree with your ideas.
I use apple products for many years. If you get the devices that fit your personal needs it will be a liason for a long period.
The only thing I don't have is the apple watch because I'm a mechanical watch lover. I couldn't a watch that needs to be charged every day.

i have both apple products and android/windows. and my advice...is dont stick to just softwares/apps dedicated only to apple users. you dont want to restrict yourself to just one ecosystem.

they're all beneficial in so many ways so take advantage of it.

I use an iPhone 12 Mini, an iPad Air 4 (both as a tablet and as a laptop replacement with the Magic Keyboard because I'm a high school student), and Airpods Pros. I'm very invested in the Apple ecosystem and I'm loving it!

As a university student I was able to afford a imac and a new phone and now I have most if not all the products. I also got an Ipad for note taking and easier storage because I suck at organizing my things 😂. Overall, the apple ecosystem is ideal for me when I airdrop and transfer files for my assignments and other things. I have a 12 pro max and enjoy the battery life and display and upgraded last july from an iphone 7. I really recommend anyone to get the standard type of the phones or macs or ipads because they're all mainly the same, but if you have a little extra cash its truly worth the investment!

Apples Ecosystem sure is good at encouraging me to keep spending money. I bought a new macbook when I needed a new laptop because of the integration with my phone and Apple watch. Then I had to purchase the new keyboard with the touch ID to use while it is docked. Then I got a pair of homepod minis for external audio and of airpods max for while I am away from the desk. It adds up fast.

I got the ecosystem quite by accident. I had an iPhone 11 Max Pro, and my husband gave me his iPad and Apple Watch, and work gave me a Macbook. I have literally only bought the AirPods and Apple Pencil. I love the connectivity in the classroom when I am presenting to students and its all so portable and light so I can take my work anywhere.

Wow that's like 5-6 grand worth of tech! I've used and liked Apple products but usually came to resent the locked in nature of Apple. I will say I like their direction of having a more complete range of price points, it's not all high end anymore as you showed with the Air and the iPad. If it works for you go for it, but if you like to explore bits of the whole tech landscape I wouldn't venture too far down the path to Appleland.
