Once one of the heavyweight maritime superpowers of the middle ages. For a time, Venice dominated the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and set up vast trade networks throughout the known world. It's legacy remains in the striking architecture of the floating city.

We can't call anyone a Christian unless they follow the principles of Christ and certainly no entity preying on other people, destroying their lives and stealing their wealth can ever be called 'Christian'.
