Back in 2020, I was out of work for 6 mths, so I was bored and decided to buy a xj6 series 3 off a 18 yr old who had cut the exhaust off mid ship, everyone was looking at me 50yr old driving this loud 4.2, I had so much fun doing restoration detailing on it and major service in my garage here in Perth, the $4000 I spent on it was not and never did tell the other half, gold with burgundy interior, loved it .

You just can't beat that body styling back them. I rode in one of those with the V-12 and at the hit of the throttle the dual exhaust pipes could be heard dragging on the street. A WILD ROCKET ride Boys..

That MG hardtop!!! I love Jags and MGs with the hardtop - and especially that 'refrigerator door' hatch on the Jag!!!

Prc 77 is the radio we mounted them on jeeps from Vietnam until the early 80s. It should fit in well in your jeep museum.

What a cute old seller. I love old people with their own style. Reminds me of my father

Back in the early 70s, my neighbor, who eventually became my brother-in-law, had a 67 Jaguar E type with a six banger that he used to drag race with. He said it was faster than his 69 Camero with a duel carburator on top of a midrise intake on top of a 454. Both were extremely loud. I loved them both.

Great to see you rescue an old jag again. Looks like the Old boy likes his Brit Iron.

The gentleman you bought the car from is still a spit fire and wanting to part of the work. Never heard of a John's Jag before. Very curious about the two unseen cars in the other barn.

9:37 My car.... except ours is Primrose Yellow. 27, 000 original miles.
XK engines are incredibly smooth motors. It was the Lucus wiring that was the culprit in these cars.
