BIONICLE PHANTOKA COMMERCIAL - TRAILER 60fps 4K

The Phantoka trailer was the first of my enhanced commercials and it was the only one that didn't feature the 4K enhancement since it was just upscaled. I had to make this improved version. Enjoy!!!

I find it crazy how Bionicle both took itself seriously in the best way while playing with the concept of the fact that their designs were toys

From the connector joints, to their almost plastic sheen on some pieces

It's like they went into a kid's head and just viewed it from their imagination and ran with it, amazing

The commercial: Tanma made a perfectly timed jump, attaching onto Lewa giving them both an advantage against the Makuta

Phantoka Lewa will forever be one of the best Toa designs in my mind. Love the massive shoulders, jet pack integration, the lime green with the blue inner-mask shield. Only thing missing is a second sword. 😘

I always liked the Phantoka line. Especially with the contrasts of the Makuta and Toa styles. With their different styles and launchers, it always gave me a Battle of Britain vibe.

The Makuta raining down Shadow Leeches on Matoran villages like German bombers. And the Toa flying up to meet them in the air to protect those on the ground like British interceptors.

Objectively speaking, I don’t think this iteration of Lewa and Chirox are even close to being the best sets of Bionicle, but this trailer makes both of them seem so epic and cool that I couldn’t help saying both of them are among my favourite sets of all time. A trailer can do wonders for a set.

I remember when I saw this on the Lego website, it was absolutely beautiful. I got into metal music, and I have this cool trailer to thank for that. Bioncle had the best soundtrack, and Gravity Hurts is the main theme for me.

Honestly, my favorite Bionicle subtheme. I really loved the idea of these sky battles and the connection feature. It just looks awesome. Man this brings back memories
