What's left from the 2nd World War Mine in 3m deep, so close to the shore. The story for this mine start's on June 2010 trip to Milos - Kimolos islands with the family. At the end of the trip and the day before our return to Paros we stopped to a protected from the north wind cove to spend the night. The plan was to start our returning early in the morning because the weather would turn bad from the next day. After anchorage the boat I dove to catch our dinner. In a while I couldn't believe in my eyes, a huge mine was infront of me. Like a monster sea urchin in absolutely great condition, like somebody put it in the water a weak ago. I returned to the boat to tell the story to my family and planed to take a video next morning, because was almost sunset at that time. The weather was still good, but the signs in the sky wasn't. The bad weather would come earlier and we had to leave the place immediately having no time to tape the amazing and rare object. On the next days we informed Paros and Milos Port Police for the mine and gave them all the informations they needed. They told us if they couldn't find it they will contact us again, but they didn't. So we had the opportunity in 2015, five years later, to visit again Kimolos & Polyaigos islands with the desire to see if the mine was still there and at what condition. Actually it was very difficult to recognize the mine because it had turned to a round stone. I couldn't believe that happent after only 5 years from the time the war navy disarmed the mine. From 1940 - 45 all of those years the mine was untouchable, but only 5 years from taking everything out from it finished. The question is what electromagnetic mechanism the Germans used inside the mine, to keep the mine brand new and absolutely nothing stucked on it all of those years? Amazing!!! @AegeanSeaQuest

That thing would probably still explode if you hit it hard enough
