This year, I saw the impact of receiving a greeting card in the mail when one of my relatives was hospitalized for awhile. After seeing how the cards brightened her day, one of my goals for 2022 is to send more cards - whether they be birthday cards, sympathy cards, get well soon cards, or thinking of you cards - thoughtful, written communication is impactful, and it’s something I want to take more advantage of. So, I came up with an organizing system to be sure I got those birthday cards sent out every month, and also have get well and thinking of you cards at my fingertips.

Love it! I currently use one of those plastic bin/baskets and I made dividers for each type of card and they're all in there vertically and I just thumb back to the card I need. But I do love your idea! I like the idea of organizing by month! I will work that into my system. Thanks!

I have a suggestion— add a piece of paper listing the person’s birthdate on or in the cases. Or make a master list for the whole year, being very organized!
I make a perpetual birthday reminder kit. Also I’m a card maker and enjoy sending cards to my special people!❤️

Love your ideas, and fab tips many thanks .I use a plastic sectioned folder, i divide up the sections by months. Then i store all the cards, i write the cards for the upcoming months. Address and stamp the envelope and put them in my mail tray ready to post. Then i dont miss any special events.

I’m a card maker and always change up how I store my cards because nothing I have tried works the way I want it to. I may try this one, I’ll just have to figure out how to include slimline cards. Thanks for this idea, and yes this would make a great gift for other card makers.

Simple Hack! I had a boss that put the date to mail (or the birthday date ) on the envelope were the stamp goes. Then when you mail out simple put the stamp over it. No one is the wiser! Helps push you across the finish line of getting it mail. Can put the envelopes by your calendar in date order.

This video inspired me so much that I bought the storage organizer immediately after watching. I made sure to get the 5x7 one, but alas: cards that are 5x7 have envelopes that are a bit larger than that, so they don't fit in these containers. :( And honestly, even the 4x6 cards I have are a squeeze with the envelopes they come with. I was so excited for this idea, but it looks like it won't work for me.

Good idea, but too much plastic, does not encourage supporting local businesses, and does not practice reduce, reuse, recycle.
