Python in the Cloud Part I - How to run Python in the Cloud / Conda environment setup on GCP

We are going to set up a Linux Virtual Machine (VM) using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), install Miniconda on it and use Python both directly in Anaconda and also create Python files using the nano editor.

Invaluable information as always! I only had one problem with the miniconda link in the description, when copying link address we get a long url of a YouTube redirect, not the pure link. I had to go to the repo to get my own link, perhaps you can post the link as text and not a link

Excellend video! Thank you. It seems the VM e2-micro is free, if used with standard hard drive <30 Gb and open in us-west1, us-easy1 or us-central1. Did somebody try to use such a VM for long time and can confirm it is free? (when I set the VM, there is still a price estimation around 7USD/month).
