I ask Charbel the question C.S. Lewis posed of Jesus but instead posed at Muhammad: was he a liar, a lunatic, or the greatest prophet?

St. Thomas Aquinas, wrote of Mohammed and Islam:
“He (Mohammed) seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh urges us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected; he was obeyed by carnal men.
As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity.

He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the Contrary, Mohammed said that he was sent in the power of his arms – which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.

What is more, no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning (1). Those who believed in him were brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Mohammed forced others to become his follower’s by the violence of his arms.
Nor do divine pronouncements on part of preceding prophets offer him any witness. On the contrary, he perverts almost all the testimony of the Old and the New Testaments by making them into a fabrication of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law.

It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity.
It is thus clear that those who place faith in his words believe foolishly.”

Something that is interesting to me about Islam is that it is the first lie that Satan ever told! In the Garden of Eden, Satan tries to convince Adam and Eve that God is not a loving Father, but that their relationship with Him is as a slave to a Master- which is what Muslims believe. Even if they believe God loves them, they would *never* say He is their father. Moral of the story: Satan doesn't have any new tricks. He just repeats the same lie over and over again, and he always works in half truths as it's easier to believe a half truth than a full lie. Which is why Islam is the second leading world religion!

Jesus told us that His father's enemy planted weeds among the seeds. The weed resembles the seeds so much until the master told the angels not to cut anything, to prevent cutting the seed. I think Charbel is right that Mohammad is not a liar nor lunatic, and he did meet one of the angel.. most likely the one that has this great game ideas to copy and twist the truth..

Great twist on the Liar, Lunatic, Lord. I would say he is a liar and lunatic. He believed his message, but you can't convince me he thought he really had the right to as many wives as he wanted by the will of Allah.

Now when I learned this and it made perfect sense that until I deployed this tactic, to AVOID blasphemers of The Holy Spirit, (I pray for their conversion from a distance), I could NOT overcome Mortal Sin. I believe this and firmly hold it and ever since then, , Gods grace overflows and have not fell back into any mortal sins ONLY AND EVER SINCE! It makes perfect sense, because to have fellowship with those blaspheming the Holy Spirit (i.e. including but not limited to: all those who don't Believe in The Real Presence, that is blasphemy because their saying The Holy Spirit cannot do it, next, all those whom blaspheme Mary, The Divine spouse of the Holy Spirit! ...Muslims because they blaspheme Jesus by denying He IS God and say He can do nothing to save you and even twist the Bible verses like heretics do). That being said, IF I BELIEVE GOD WILL SAVE THEM, Blasphemers of The Holy Spirit? Then according to The Fathers I AM IN MORTAL SIN! So how could I escape mortal sin being in mortal sin? A: You cannot and WILL NOT UNTIL YOU LEARN AND HOLD THE TRUE Dogmas, of THE ONE, HOLY, ROMAN CATHOLIC & APOSTOLIC CHURCH (and those in Communion with her) Outside of which it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God and impossible to be Saved! Period! Stop listening to the Blasphemies hurled and regurgitated from the bellies of the Beasts! Both inside and outside The Church. We are called to live a Holy life! Muhammad was a warlord that at some point claimed prophethood or vice versa...but he was not mad or lunatic. He was a very clever and machiavelic leader that had a project of power that is still affecting the world today. Islam is a political, social, economical system that mascarades itself as a religion.
