I would honestly not be even slightly surprised. So many things fit perfectly. It's what makes Gura so uniquely Gura.

It wouldn't be surprising if she were on the spectrum since I know girls aren't diagnosed as much as boys on the spectrum and also tend to find out later in life as a result. If Gura did end up getting an official diagnosis at this point, it might help her put some mysteries about her mental functioning into perspective. Maybe also teach her some tips for stuff she's not yet figured out how to manage if she actually is on the spectrum. Ultimately though, she's still extremely successful and talented at what she does as an entertainer and seems to be living just fine. All in all, she's still just the lovable Goomba to me.

she has a point about internet cognitive tests. like, particularly with autism, ive had a hunch that im on the spectrun for a while, and it's like. sure i could get an official diagnosis, but what's that gonna do for me? ill just keep that locked away as a little piece of information no one needs to know. except strangers in a youtube comment section apparently lol

the fact she said this is really cool though. i remember even just a couple years ago people would use autism as an insult pretty commonly. im happy the conversation around it is changing enough that someone in a position like gura's can openly say "yeah i might be packing a little bit of autistic girl swag." good for her

I always got confused and sometimes did things weird when it came to logistical stuff, and eventually I was diagnosed as dyslexic. It gave me much anxiety, and I'm already really anxious all the time. At first I thought I was "tainted" so to speak as a human being. But overtime I've accepted the fact that I do things "Squirrel" style, and stopped beating myself up over it. The people that care for me/appreciate me at work accept me with my quirks without shunning me. The ones that don't are close minded, cruel human beings that I pay no heed to now.

When it comes to stuff like this it's always best to get a diagnosis from a phycologist as soon as possible, even if it turns out to be nothing it's good to check when I got my diagnosis it explained a lot and really helped, I always thought Sana might be but I could be completely wrong

I know this clip is from a while ago, but she is such an inspiration that you can be yourself and as successful at building relationships (even if they’re parasocial) as she is. I know an online test isn’t in any way conclusive, and her personality is “idol Goomba”, but even through some the quirks you can see signs and through her stories, I just always implied, but I’m proud of the community she’s built

I was diagnosed with Asperger's some years ago.
I have severe problems interacting with people as I can't read emotions/body language or "the room/atmosphere", and hand gestures just looks like people waving their hands around stupidly. I know now people are doing it to help them explain something, but sorry... I still don't understand lol.
And I also need clear direction on what to do at work otherwise I just stand there awkwardly not knowing what to do, until someone comes up and talks to me lul.

School was absolute hell.
