Damn, Gura passed on the test without studying, that's so impressive lol

ASD and ADHD do share a number of traits. Either way, knowing is better than not, as it can help you learn techniques and strategies to overcome issues you may have not realised you are facing.

As someone who's been diagnosed with ASD since I was a kid, it really isn't a big deal, it's just the way you see things and the way you interact with people that's different. Besides, when Covid hit, I was in a real bad place, and that's about the time I'd found Gura and the rest of HoloEN. They're funny, they make me laugh. I don't think Gura being autistic changes that at all.
Edit: after reading some replies, I should mention that of course ASD affects everyone differently. I was only really talking about my personal as well as my friend's personal experiences. And I can also see that it's a bigger problem if ASD isn't diagnosed earlier with the proper amount of support.

This makes for a funny story and all, but never rely on self diagnosis if you know what's good for you.

People talking like she was diagnosed lmao, she took an online test, that doesn't mean anything.

We love Gura the way she is. Who cares about the test result, it's just one more line to be added to the lore. Gura is still Gura regardless.

I was born with Autism and ADHD and had to learn a lot thanks to my recently passed mother, if it weren't for her I wouldn't be here today.
I'll still support you Gura, regardless if you have it or not cause you're still you. โค

Idk weirds me out how many people are commenting things like "We'd still love you even if you did have Autism!" Instead of celebrating someone potentially gaining a better understanding of themselves

Its what makes Gura's goober brain tick tho. If anything else, it just makes it better.

Well that would explain why she's so engaging to listen to as an entertainer. The entertainment value that our endearing little shark has, that's not something that can be learned.

I wouldnt care if she have it. Gura being Gura, this is why I love her so much

I recognize how internally jarring it can be to tell somebody you think you're on the spectrum and for them to just reply with "We know". Like, it's meant as a reassuring thing, and it is in many ways, but it also can make you panic and worry that you've been displaying some traits that were obvious to others but not yourself. Dunno, it's just one of those things that's stressful to try to work into being part of your identity, and how to weave that casually into normal conversation without making a big deal of it.

I took an intro to autism college class and this is possible. Alot of people focus on children with autism, but there are many high functioning adults who go their whole lives not realizing they're autistic or had autism misdiagnosed as something else as children. The class even stresses how we do a disservice by not researching and assisting adult autistics who are diagnosed later in life more, especially with it still being stigmatized.

I doubt we chumbuds would even care about that, it's because Gura's the way she is that we love her. Ain't that right?

As an ASD person myself it just makes me love Gura more. Watching her streams make me feel like I'm getting the childhood I never had.

People on the spectrum tend to have comorbid disorders like ADHD, depression, and OCD quite often.
Placement on the spectrum is also way more common than people think.
I guess I can see why I vibe with Gura now.

Yeah. As someone who has it, I've watched her and been like "this is suspiciously relatable"

Gura is wonderful and her potentially having ADD or being on the Spectrum does NOTHING to change that! I have always and will always love our smol shorkie!
