General Radahn - Closer Look

One of my favorite things about this fight is that when if you ever summon patches to to help you, he takes one look at the boss, then returns to his world.

*-Respected so much there is a entire festival dedicated to him, to release him from his suffering.*
*-Boss fight allows player to summon a small army to fight him.*
What a legend, just as much of a Chad as Artorias.

The dude when full feral, and somehow still had mastery over his power, plus the wisdom to still maintain his bond with his Horse to some extant.

According to lore, despite him going completely insane and devouring the remains of challengers and allies alike, he has such perfect mastery of gravitational magic that he keeps the stars in place and has gone through countless battles while ensuring his horse is never harmed - at the same time.

I can wholeheartedly say there is nothing more terrifying in all the souls games than Radhan charging at you with both swords drawn.

an interesting detail: most of Radahn's moves have him either shielding his horse from harm with his body (whether from enemy attacks or his own), or have him push the horse deep into the sands with his foot to keep it safe during some of his bigger attacks.

even still, rot-addled and rampaging, he cares so much for his faithful companion.

Despite how funny it looks for Radahn to ride a skinny old horse, he's a true bro and gigachad for going out of his way to learn gravity magic so that he can support his horse and never leave it's side.

Radahn is one of the bosses in all of Souls games history.

This is the same guy who held back an actual meteor shower from hitting the world of Elden Ring with his power for years despite being reduced into a monstrous shadow of his former self.

Radahn really is the Conqueror of the Stars.

I love how he couldve just used his legs to support his weight even just a tiny bit to lessen the burden on his steed. But no, dude literally fought space, *won*, and use the power he gained to manipulate the laws of physics itself just so that he doesnt deny his beloved little horse its purpose.

The whole gaint warrior atop a tiny horse looks hilarious in concept but From still finds a way to make it look badass. And when you learn his backstop about why he keeps the horse its oddly heartwarming

I noticed that FromSoft does a lot of expressionless faces on most characters and enemies. Seeing Radahn's anger hits differently

The betrayal at the beginning of this fight was more painful than all Radahn's attacks.

I love the subtle details of cosmic stuff this game has. The swords, for example, have runic symbols shaped like a magnetic planetary field
