Big fan of the look of the Urban style and like the savings made on vat reclaim and tax savings for business users. Just be aware the speeds you can drive these commercial class vehicles are different to cars. Easy to get confused with a motor like the LR Defender or Disco 5 commercials. When their twin cars are allowed different speed limits on the same UK roads, as it’s up to 10mph lower than the same looking car here on UK roads except motorways are still 70mph. As alot of cameras dish out speeding fines and if not aware u can easily collect points and even more grief drivers have with high car insurance. So these class of commercials in built up areas and cities is 30mph
Single carriageway it’s 50mph
Dual carriageways 60mph and
Motorways it is 70mph.
Towing on motorways every one is limited to 60mph.
Don’t also forget toll roads like M6 toll, these are higher van prices too auto calculated via cameras and dvla database👍 Great content as ever would ❤ a Commercial LR Def 110 by Urban.

I seriously rate the urban media team and their production skills. Here's a suggestion, the cinematic quality of these videos is slightly let down by the intro. Is it worth reformatting to the same cinematic theme. 😊😊😊

The tax thing with commercials started a few years ago in Ireland, but the government copped onto it with people buying cars this way or importing them from the uk so brought in a VRT rule which basically you pay the government tax more money just to stop people doing it this way, they will always get ya so do it now and buy these vehicles before the British government realise it and put in some sort of tax payment

Urban builds look better when they not black. You get to see all the detail. Colour coded lambo looks fantastic.

All very good BUT my understanding is that if you use the vehicle for just a few personal journeys then you’ll get hammered on BIK. Unless you tell me otherwise?

All you have to do is show HMRC that your taxable turnover will be less than the £83, 000 deregistration threshold. Deregistration isn't compulsory though, and businesses can continue being VAT registered even if their turnover is less than £85, 000

They maybe tax efficient by claiming back the VAT, but when the monthly payments are £1k or more per month that’s a lot of dollar to find even for a business, .

We used to do the rear seat conversion on Mini vans back in the day. In theory you are supposedly to inform insurance, DVLA etc, but no one does.

You can commercial cars here in Norway too but your not allowed seats in the back, without paying extra tax😢

A great film this week, however I would like to see a little less tomfoolery and a little more of the work by the technician's,

If the business is not VAT registered (some don’t need to be regardless of turnover), I guess I still have to pay the VAT but can’t claim it back - bummer!

Hi, I’m massively into this rear seat conversion in the 110 but no one can confirm if it voids LR warranty? Can you help…..
