Sign me up as a test subject. I had a serious TBI 4 years ago and now suffering a concussion that doesn’t seem to be getting better. So in all seriousness, I would love to open myself up to such amazing research.

The challenge and therefore the reality of a TBI is that if it IS moderate/severe you will never fully recover. Yes, you can improve by way of rerouting through "neuroplaciicty"sp but you will never fully recover. You cant grow a new foot or a new arm but you learn ways of compensation. As a side note, the affects are severe fatigue....but I will take that trade off as my mind is functioning again....albeit at a much slower speed.
