How to Spool a Baitcaster - Quick & Simple Instructional

Показать описание
Here is a quick and simple instructional video showing you how to spool a baitcaster. There really isn't much to it, a couple things to remember, always run the line through your first guide. Then use the sticker that came with your spool of line to attach the line to the spool or simply tie a knot. Hold a good amount of tension on the line guiding it back and forth with your thumb and index finger. If you do not guide the line and hold it in place, you will find that the line spools up unevenly and you will have to start over. Be sure not to overfill the spool, watch the little lip/indicator and stop before reaching it, this will help prevent backlash. Be sure to purchase a reputable line for optimal performance. I chose to use Berkley’s vanish line in this demonstration. If you enjoyed this video, please give a thumbs up and subscribe. Thank you and we will see you on the water!

sticker on the spool idea to avoid having to waste time tying a knot is cool, esp for beginners that have a hard time tying a knot.

Hey man i got to admit that the box and screwdriver is a pretty good idea, but i would stay away from using tape to hold your line on. There have been times when i am fishing that i get spooled out from a monster fish, and my arbor knot has held on strong and i didnt lose all my line or the fish. If you have a fish of a lifetime on, and you get spooled out, then the tape wont hold your line and you will then lose the fish and all of your line. Good video man though i enjoyed
