In this quick tutorial (PART 1), you'll learn how to generate the custom bookmark link as a report developer. If you're the report viewers/users instead, you may be able to figure out if the feature has been turned on by the developer and learn how to bookmark your preferred view with a unique URL link. I'll also share with you multiple ways to present the links in Looker Studio.

About BOOKMARK URL
Enabling custom bookmark links for a report allows viewers to save their filter settings as a bookmark. This means that the filter settings are included as parameters in the URL of the bookmark, and when the viewer clicks on the bookmark in the future, the report will be loaded with the same filter settings that were saved. This feature provides a convenient way for viewers to quickly return to their preferred view of the data.

This is great! Thank you! Can you help me apply a date range filter to the URL string somehow? I just want to auto-set the date in links if there is a way to select a specific range or even just a single month from the calendar and year, if able to specify in the URL string.

Great video! thanks for sharing. There is an issue though one you share links and you want only to give partial views, the user can always click uptop on the "Reset" button and the dashboard will reset all filters, showing all information. Any idea how that could be solved?

But what happens when de report has pages. The filter only works in the first page, the rest pages are free even when they have the same filter
