The 2024 SUVs are released, or are coming soon and if you're looking to buy a new SUV then this video will show you a few models I think you should avoid. These just look like they're going to be the most unreliable SUVs, or the worst SUVs to own. We can't tell everything just yet, but I'm going to give you the best car advice I can and make sure to steer you away from the SUVs with high ownership costs, bad vehicle design, and SUVs that will just break your wallet.

I offroad with the Bronco Sport badlands. It works great and has a much better suspension then a ford Focus. It really just appears people want to hate on the Bronco sport yet I just don't know why. It ranked one of the highest in poor weather, it has ridiculous fuel economy and given the right trim level can off-road decently.

I have a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands ( 2L 4 Cylinder), and it has been great. The engine issues you're talking about are for the 1.5L 3 cylinder version, and this is the first time Im hearing about paint issues.

I'm surprised not to see a Rover on this list.

Funny you mentioned the GM SUV door handles that break. After the third time I returned to the Dealership with the same broken door handle they refused to warranty it because they said “ I used my doors too much”. It’s the last GM I’ve owned.

If you're going to review a vehicle, make sure the parts and pieces you review actually reflect the comments you are making. Just one point of note from this video. The Bronco Sport has 2 different engines. The one in your video has the 2.0 L. It has been to date, virtually bulletproof in the sport. The engine you spend so much time denigrating from sources is clearly the 1.5 L from the issues you mention. It may also be on the same unibody as the Escape, but it is not the same. Every manufacturer shares parts among models to keep costs down. You make it sound like it's a defective practice to do so. There is virtually nothing from the Escape in the Bronco Sport other than the unibody, certainly not it's upgraded suspension and electronic drive system. If you expect people to trust your videos as a source of reputable information, then put reputable information out.

Did an 800 mile all-highway trip in a V6 8-spd Grand Cherokee a few years ago. Nice drive, but 23 mpg was a disappointment. Return trip, same route was in a 2.4 liter 9-spd Compass... it downshifted 1 or 2 gears for every upgrade and got about 27 mpg. I have made the same trip several times in my own Honda Pilot V6 6-spd and averaged 27 mpg. I'll keep the Honda.

I own a 2020 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter V8 and I use it for towing a boat and now has over 110, 000 miles no problems so far. Its a 4X4 and have done some off roading as well, no rattles.

All makes and model are made to be disposable. It’s the new era of what we live in now. Older models are better.

The Bronco Sport is higher priced because it has AWD standard. My Bronco Sport has been perfect.

I can agree with the door handles. I have a 11’ Sierra and have had to replace multiple handles over the years

Like your camera usage, angle, plus some good funny stuff worked in the shot on site. Your information is important now more than ever. Great work!

The way I see it, due to the pay increases for the plant assembly workers (overpaid general workers at GM, Ford, Dodge), manufactures overpricing the vehicle (especially Dodge), quality control, I think GM, Ford, Dodge will need to drastically reduce their prices or face going bankrupt or ask to be bailed out once again. When China enters the North American market, that will also be the end of the three auto makers. Japanese vehicles will be the high end/reliable vehicles and the Chinese vehicles will be the cheap disposable vehicles. As for electric vehicles, just a pipe dream that these idiot leaders are trying to push, never happen until technology advances drastically and they start building infrastructure. I don't claim to predict the future, just using common sense.

Brothers Tahoe Transmission failed catastrophically and he took it into the service department. They gave him hell about doing anything about it, he had mechanical insurance on it luckily and the deductible was about $500 but the sad part is it took 4 weeks to get his vehicle back. Insane!!!

@exoticcarplayplace do you see any improvements with the Explorer STs? I figure they may put more care into that top end model as opposed to the base.

We had a 2021 Bronco Sport and we have a 2022 Bronco Sport with the 3 cylinder we have had one recall for the fuel injector. Does decent in the snow we only had to take it to a dealer for an issue once and it was covered under warranty. The 2022 is a lot better than the 2021 was.

The Bronco Sport is actually a really reliable, comfortable daily driver with great gas mileage and safety. Ive had very few problems driving one.
