The reporting and those interviewed are telling half the truth and omitting another side, on the video a young black man said his mom lost her job and he moved to favela and street? At the same time if a job is offered to this young man he will likely refuse because he's used to relying on his mom. Brazilians at its majority relies on their parents much longer than in any other country in the world.
Another aspect is that many jobs are available but there's no capable people to fullfill the positions as recently Amazon opened two hundred posts but not a single one was filled
