Rescued pregnant cat relaxes in forever home

Frosthaven had been spotted lingering around a basement colony, visibly pregnant. Fortunately, we were able to step in and spay her just in time, preventing more kittens from being born into a life of uncertainty outdoors. With shelters and rescues nationwide stretched far beyond capacity, the harsh reality is that we must focus our limited resources on helping cats that have already been born who are not receiving the care and resources they need. Thanks to your support, Frosthaven got that care and love, and she's thriving in her forever home. Thank you for making her new life possible. 🐾

She's still a kitten herself. Thank u for doing what is best for her. What saddens me is that they can start getting pregnant when they are still kittens, at 6 months old. Poor girl.

People not sterilizing plus abandoning their pets... and leaving to the chance and to the rest of us rescuers (if we happen to be around) the hardship to face a worsened situation and to take the harsh decisions that need to be taken...

Whenver someon says they got a pet, my first question is is they are neutered/spayed, then vaccines and other treatments. People still do NOT seem to understand how important sterilizing their pets is.
