I remember the people of Iceland stopping their local eruption from filling the harbor and saving their town/village. Miles of firehoses at the ready and put to use, redirecting the flow away, saving themselves and their economy.

Carbon dioxide has never been the problem. Pollution is a real problem, but it is beyond stupid to target carbon dioxide as a problem or even an indicator of environmental damage.

Do you want to do something to actually have a real effect on your carbon footprint? Stop shopping at Walmart and on Amazon and buy local. And don't buy anything made in China. Products produced in China have around a five times higher emission per unit ratio that a similar product produced domestically, and then you have to add the emissions from shipping and the inhumane work conditions. But in the long run it doesn't matter what we do in America and the western world. China produces more carbon than the next four largest polluters combined. We could completely shut everything down in America with almost zero impact.

False: The magma chamber underneath Yellowstone is 2/3rds solid and therefore cannot blow. It has to be all liquid which takes a long time, it isn't blowing any time soon. Not even for 10, 000 years.

The current activity at the Yellowstone Super volcano is currently not at a state of immediate eruption. While I am not a geologist, I do study volcanoes and volcanic activity. Yellowstone has for years been a fascinating study. Mt. Lassen is also an active volcano, but it too is currently not at a stage to eruption.
Everything that I have studied so far doesn't indicate an immediate eruption at Yellowstone. You all need to stop listening to conspiracy theories.

Yellowstone isn't read to "go off at any moment" like the video says early in... That's just misleading sensationalism. The magma isn't nearly molten enough to be mobile yet. It's in a state that's like a slightly malleable rock. Also the eruption wouldn't cause the entire earth to go dark as this says. For much of north america, yes. Supervolcanoes are exciting enough on their own, they don't need to be hyped up with exagerrations
