Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for making this great tutorial. I wasted 10+ hours trying to get Mojave running under crappy VirtualBox with the sound working. I gave up trying to make it work and ran across your video. I followed your steps by the numbers and in 15 minutes I was up and running in VMware 15 workstation with sound in Mojave! I have a high end rig and Mojave is running smooth as silk even at 3840 x 2160. No lag. Big thanks for the other video on how to setup 1920 x 1080 rez via terminal. Subbed.

For anyone wondering my VMware did say "64bit not supported on guest..." even though I am running a 9700k and virtualization is enabled on my MOBO. It still worked fine!! WORKS GREAT! as of 18 April 2020.

Anyone using these directions needs to download the unlocker from github from the developer. Vmware has changed the urls for downloading the tools and if the tools do not download it will not enable the Mac option when creating a new VM. If you already ran the unlocker there is a win-uninstall that will restore the files and bring Workstation back to stock. You can then run the latest version and it will work.

The install worked well, but when I'm trying to plug in a USB stick and click on "connect to virtual machine" crashes the whole PC and corrupts the virtual disk. Any idea what could be wrong?

The Mojave is working fine the xcode 10.12 is also working. I am using this for ios development with swift language. Extremely useful. Thanks a lot

Does GPU Output works? I mean thru VMWARE? For instance I want to add another monitor to be used in Mojave... can vmware do that? Basically multi-screen setup? How does that work?
