By the way, those Sharpie markers are great for letting your surgeon know which leg to NOT operate on.

I was really impressed with that flat bar and how smoothly it did the job. I used to have what I considered to be a complete tool set but unfortunately never had one of those. That would've saved me so many headaches and so much time.
Thanks for the heads-up. Always appreciate your vids!

I have a few of those small pouches of various brands and I use them all the time. Gardening, trim work, cleaning the house, just having the stuff on my hip is so useful. Most recently I decided to measure all of the walls in the part of the basement I am remodeling so I packed one with a pencil, torpedo level, laser measure tool, tape measure, and a painter's tool because why not? I believe if facilitated the job beautifully because I was not fumbling trying to hold things or digging in my pockets.

I have a small occidental leather pouch. It's clip on. Holds tape, knife, pencil, spring punch, marker, and a screwdriver. Basically everything I need. I ditched big tool bags years ago

I’m thrilled you are sharing your “go to” small tools. You save me time and effort and I’m 60, the time thing matters.

Stanley knife for drywall. All you need is a discarded cutoff wheel to sharpen and I can make a blade last 2 days before I flip it.

I literally (old school meaning!) always take away something useful from every one of your videos. Thanks, again!🙂

Man I really appreciate your bloopers. I feel like same exact way trying to find my words sometimes lol. Great rig there. I agree on everything. I will recommend trying Milwaukee inkzall sharpies. I would say they're much more durable than regular sharpies. This is probably most noticable marking glossy tiles while using a wetsaw and not losing your mark like with normal sharpies.

I have one of those nail sets, They are also very handy as a center punch or removing hinge pins.

Staedtler pencils are the best. Staedtler Mars mechanical pencil with .9 mm is my go to. I've been using that model for at least 14 years. Great video!

Love the setup! Mines almost identical but I'll definitely try those pencils out, also give the Milwaukee sharpees a try. They last a lot longer and write better on wet and dirty surfaces, in my experience. Keep the videos coming, I've been a carpenter for over 10 years and I've learned so many great things from you!

I sue the Titan flat bar per your recommendation in another earlier video, and it is outstanding! I use it all the time on the job! Thanks!

Good luck healing, achilles ruptures suck, but it sucks just as much to try and repair them! Great video as always, I will forever keep a sharpie on my person for when I feel the urge to become an amateur banksy in the crapper.

Instead of snap-off knife blades, I just use pliers and snap off the dull tip of a standard utility knife blade. It's a more comfortable and safer tool to work with when pressing hard on it. Usually can do each end twice. Also in a pocket should be a Knipex "Cobra". Once you discover how handy they are they'll become an EDC item.

Dewalt has a similar pouch I've been using about 20 years. It's a little better for me since it has a utility knife pocket in the outside middle.

Thank you for sharing your experience

I'm a laid off union framer, concentrate form, steel stud exterior, dens/glass, and shaft walls. But Breh, union isn't finding me any companies, !taking a residential, finish carpenter job, I don't know dick about residential finish work, but I got bills to pay, so your channel has become my bible.
