I played D4 for like a week. It's just a boring loot grind tbh. BG3 is wild though! I'm in act 3 with almost 70 hours of play time now and tbh I'm looking forward to playing again as the dark urge

me and my brother have been doing a campaign together in BG3 and it's easily the best co-op game ive ever played. we're really enjoying it a lot. we're not that far at all and i can already tell there is tons of replayability with how things are turning out in our playthrough. this game is in my top 10 of all time.

I’m in act 2 and still have TONS and more playthroughs with other classes and more choices.

Even down to the day to day and minute by minute.

Two things that make me wanna go back and play and do even more choices:

1. I main rogue right now and I pickpocketed my quest giver and when I later completed and asked for a reward she’s like “I DID have something to give you but all my stuff disappeared. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that would you?” And her husband chimes in like “now now honey! Thank you adventurer!”

And 2. I briefly multiclassed warlock, and for you DnD/BG guys they have a Patron as a source of their magic, not born with it or learn from books.

I multiclassed to warlock for like, maybe a battle before I decided it was inefficient but before I changed back, I talked to Gale the magic guy for his backstory and part of it is to try getting attuned to his god Mythra to relate to him and understand him and his power more. After the conversation he happily said “but you know about sources of magic from your Patron? Don’t you?”

And I thought “bro I JUST multiclassed to warlock wtf” lol

D4 doesn’t even hold a candle. That’s why BG3, since release has still been pushing through the 600k player mark and doesn’t drop much below 400k in the off-times.

Game’s massive and a labor of love and you can do sooo much.

D4 can’t even add stash tabs and they will arbitrarily increase the dungeon exit timer so they can nerf it and call it content.

And yes I know asmon will never play BG 3 because it’d frustrate him, but this exposure from him still helps I’m sure.

But yeaaa. The choices actually DO matter sooo much

Already put in more time on BG3 than I did for the entirety of pre-season Diablo. About 90 hours into BG3 now and I already want to do at least two other types of playthroughs. Larian is incredible.

Yeah I still haven't even finished my first play through, I'm atleast 100 hours deep and probably about half or less. Constant content. The level of detail is insane.
