EPIC Trent XWB SPOOL UP! Air Caraibes A350 XWB Engine Start & Take Off from Martinique!

Air Caraibes is the first French airline to operate the A350 and will remain the only one (along with French Blue, which belongs to the same group as TX) until Joon starts receiving its A350s in 2019. In addition, TX has 2 A350-1000 on order, which should be delivered starting in 2020.

I booked my return ticket especially to fly Air Caraibes' A350 from Fort-de-France to Paris Orly. TX has 2 A350-900 in service, F-HHAV (MSN 82) and F-HNET (MSN 91) which operate daily ORY-PTP and ORY-FDF flights. I've had the pleasure to fly the A350 a year and a half earlier, with Finnair between HEL and BRU, but I was VERY excited to fly this one as well!

As often I've started filming from the beginning, so that the engine start is included in the video. Well, the engine start is not as impressive as a GE90 start. But the Trent XWB is still the most powerful engine ever designed for an Airbus, and it can be felt during engine start as well as during take off. You'll also hear the characteristic Rolls-Royce melodious engine sound and ROAR (to my ears at least^^).
