Roderick Chisholm on Personal Identity - A person is a Tiny Particle!

Chisholm is committed to a form of materialism, and that leads him to the view that individual persons are tiny particles in a brain. I describe the reasoning that leads to the view, primarily a commitment that one thing cannot have differing parts at different times. Chisholm is a mereological essentialist, and I explain what that means here.
