Thank you for the video. Very insightful. My dog knows to stay when he can see me and sometimes when I'm out of sight but finds this more difficult. I will start the wait command training ASAP!
My first question regarding the wait command training is: Let's say I told my dog to wait on his bed in the livingroom and I leave the room, say, for 1 min. and come back to find that he moved from his bed and is standing behind the door. What do I do? Say no and take him back to the bed and repeat?
Me second question is: Is it better to choose a position for the purpose of this training (like his bed or the room he will be when he's left home alone) or should I do this at random different locations.
I was advised to use a thunder shirt, DAP spray, and recue remedy drops. I haven't purchased the shirt but I won't now. But I suppose DAP spray won't harm while I re-visit these basic command training as well.

Please help!! I have a 3 month old toy Yorkie and she has severe separation anxiety! Last owner kept her locked up in a tiny bathroom for 12-14 hours a day! I just got her 3 days ago and now every time I leave her sight, she freaks out and cries and barks soooo bad!! How can I help her so I can leave her side, since I can’t be around her 24/7.
