Level 8: Middle-Earth Believer. "Tolkien knew the true history of our world! He published his findings under the guise of a fantasy epic."
Level 7: Tolkien Scholar. "Yes, I dedicate my life to scouring every minute facet of this man's life and his works...why are you looking at me like that?"
Level 6: Anti-Movie Tolkien Hipster. "The Jackson films and its consequences have been a disaster for Tolkien's works."
Level 5: Super Transcended Tolkien Nerd. "My house is nothing but Middle-Earth merch."

Level -1: Tolkien Hater. "Lord of the Rings is boring, overrated trash."
Level -2: Rings of Power fan. "Just hear me out..."
Level -10: Amazon MGM Studios. "Middle-Earth can be whatever I want."

That is the beautiful thing about Tolkien writing. It’s really more about the love of language and poetry, even all the lore and fantasy stuff is just in service of that. That’s kind of hard for any other fantasy writer to recreate.

I can confidently say that at 13 years old, I am a bigger lord of the rings “historian”, thanks to Nerd of the rings, which doesn’t make me a nerd anyhow…..I’m not a nerd😂

A parody book, nice, I bought a Harry Potter parody book myself many many moons ago, it was called "Hairy Pothead and the Marijuana Stone" by Dana Larsen. Yes, It was during 'that' phase of my life, but it was pretty entertaining.

Here's a few of the characters names: Herbonme Stranger, Gon Weedly, Professor Moruvva McGanjagal, Vacuous Vape (and my personal favorite) Hempwards Master Head Alwaze Duinthadope.

I think I’d say I’m level three, I’ve read lord of the rings and the hobbit several times, and have just finished my first read of the silmarilion.
