my question is do I have to pay into the NYPFL on my paycheck if I work in California? My employer have be deducting this on my paycheck for 10 years and it's starting to add up.

Video does not mention that only employers who have a income of $500, 000 or more and minimum 15 employees apply.

I know this because I know restaurants and small businesses who refused to give paid maternal leave and their reason was low revenue and barely 10 employees. Which makes sense to refuse.

I personally on my two pregnancies I got paid six months of full of my salary or 24 weeks. 3 months before giving birth and three after. And the company even paid my hospital bill. I work for a financial group. I been working at the same place for 17 years. I have health insurance from the company which covers my parents when they come to the city.

Even during the pandemic they give me a $1000 weekly voucher to survive.
