This dresser drawers were left to rot outside, covered in dirt and dead spiders. I wanted to make it beautiful again and completed a full restoration / refurbishment.

What a great find. A beautiful solid oak sideboard up-cycled to something more useful to you and your family. I’m so glad you saved it from the trash. I prefer a darker stain myself but the finish came out very nice. This was a great refurbishing.😊

I love the look now but I also loved the dark look before. I think the top was over sized because they didn't have loads of space so they made it work where they could. I also understand why you adjusted it to your liking. Loads of sanding but it makes the piece look its best. Your pup is beautiful.

I live on the sea too, but mine isn't as nice as yours. The tides are extreme, making the water murky and it's all rock, no sand.
You did a fine job on that chest of drawers! I use Howard products on all my wooden furniture.

That's such a lovely sympathetic restoration. I hate that black gunk that theyre always coated in, it's a nightmare to get off. What's your scraper? I worry about scratches. Brilliant.
