Porsche Cayenne S 9YA review 2020 | Sacrilege or practical Porsche?

Should you buy a third generation Porsche Cayenne 9YA? MY 2017 and on, 2020 Porsche Cayenne review | Brand sacrilege? Or is it all that is great about Porsche in a family sized package?

In this video I drive a 2020 Porsche Cayenne S, the lightest and fastest version of the Cayenne to date. In 2002 Porsche launched the Cayenne, it had a controversial debut, its looks divided opinion and many enthusiasts questioned the rationale for building it, claiming sacrilege!

However, 18 years on, the model is largely seen as a success, SUVs are Porsche's best selling models and undoubtedly enable and support the creation of the cars we love today, for example GT3, GT3RS, 4.0l Spyder and GT4.

In this review while driving the 2019 / 2020 Cayenne S, we compare and contrast the different models in the range, Cayenne Coupe vs Cayenne, S, GTS or Turbo and I ask whether the new technology, lightweight materials, amazing performance, packaged into a practical car make this all Porsche?

Nice video. Body roll tends to be a challenge in these bigger cars, so nice to see this is being well controlled. We missed seeing the cat in this video

Really good review. I’ve always had hot hatches and a rS4 and recently swapped to a 2020 Macan GTS as was blown away by the comfort, and handling of the car. I have a 991.2 GT3 and you can feel the Porsche engineering, these are stunning cars.
