MESSAGE FROM A VIRGIN PAINT SPRAYER. I just bought the Graco X19. Never have used one of these before. I have watched a lot of how to type videos but watching someone else use these machines and using one yourself for the first time is a different story. I know that the sprayer I purchased is capable. The questions become... Am I capable? Will I make a mess of the job? What will discharging the gun actually feel like? Here is the solution for my lack of confidence. I WILL USE STRAIGHT WATER TO SPRAY MY GARAGE DOOR UNTIL I REACH A SATISFACTORY LEVEL OF COMFORT WITH THIS EQUIPMENT AND MY TECHNIQUE.

Great Video! You are a very good instructor. I've had my sprayer in storage for a couple of years and used the the guard prior to storage. Misplaced manual with two recent moves and found you and wanted you to know how appreciative your video was now I need to paint my fence in backyard. And you made it so Real getting a bath these are the best instructional video's when we actually realize we can only skirt around perfection in any of our fields of expertise.. .. :)

Just one tip size didn't really make any difference tbh. .I find the same...I usually end up lowering by two tip sizes with the fflp tips in this situation....great video's, very informative and interesting

Brilliant video, such neat spraying. I have the Graco A20 and today my first time using it I was getting runs in the paint when priming MDF, do you think it’s likely too close or the pressure too high?

Thanks for the video. I have just got a sprayer and used it for the first time. It's gone everywhere 🤣. Like a fine mist. Gone under doors and into other room. What did I do wrong? I'm I spraying to far away from wall.

If you don’t have any more pressure available, then your pump isn’t big enough. You shouldn’t need to max out the capacity of the equipment, or drop the spray tip orifice below what is recommended on the products data sheet.

Separating the suction from the discharge tube is a big mistake.
Eventually you will flick it to prime while pressurized and it throws paint everywhere

I just bought the GX FF from you. Instinctively I'm wondering if it might be bad for the pump if you flush all fluid from the high pressure hose and gun before introducing paint i.e is the pump potentially running dry?
