1.Unzip files

sudo unzip filename

2. Decompress .gz files

sudo tar -xzvf filename

3. Copy files to lxqt themes folder

sudo cd /usr/share/lxqt/themes
sudo cp ~/Downloads/themes/* .

This LXQT is quite impressive in its elegance and simplicity. The basic functionalities seem to work better than on most Gnome implementations. The only question left to me is 'on which linux flavor Gary gave us this fine guide'? Great!

you should not use sudo to unzip in your home folder this is not needed and comes with risks.

Why do I have white borders around windows when I choose colour palette Ambiance ? how to get rid of those white windows borders?
