In Japan, the 卍 (manji) has been used as a symbol of Buddhism since the Nara period (1, 200 years ago). The manji can be seen on the principal image of Yakushiji Temple and on fabrics from the Azuchi-Momoyama period. It is also widely used as a family crest in Japan, and was an important symbol used by clans in the Heian period and feudal lords in the Sengoku period (around 1, 100 years ago).

So many delicious foods, but I already know that the cheesy curry bun would have been my favorite. The way it was steaming in the cold weather made it look extra delicious. 😂

Very cool, in São Paulo we have the "Mercadão", Big Market in Portuguese, there are lot's of famous Brazilian dishes and fresh fruits and vegetables to buy, it's very cool.
