Even though mini pigs are smaller compared to other standard types of pigs, they still grow very large and require lots of care. Many people have abandoned them because of this, unfortunately.

I'm glad the people on this thread have done research or have gotten experience. "Mini pigs" aren't a thing, at least in the sense that they'll stay tiny and cute forever; most of these are piglets. The only way pigs stay small is if they're starved. A properly cared for pig WILL grow, and it will grow BIG. A couple hundred pounds worth of big. I can't stand these misleading ads and commercials.

They are SO I got two Nigerian Dwarf goats 8 years ago thinking they would remain not!! LOL!!! They're about 80 or 90 lbs. each but I couldn't love them more.

My real mom had a sanctuary for mini-pigs. People have no idea how big these mini's get. She got lots of money, and minipigs. But she also got shut down (too close to the river).
