Episode 5 is the best one of this show IMO (but Episode 4 is my most favorite out of them all)

Heard a lot of people loved this episode and a lot of people thought it was weak. For me, I thought it was great. Awesome character stuff 👏

That woman is Madame Hydra btw. Long ass identity so I understand why she was easy to be confused about

1. Episode 5
2. Episode 4
3. Episode 3
4. Episode 2

I liked this episode just as much, if not more than, episode 4. Really love the montages and character building and acting. Sorry, this episode was fantastic. And Wyatt Russel is great! I couldn't help but grin when he was performing on screen in this episode because it was so good and I was happy he was bringing it.

Overall I enjoyed the episode a LOT, might even be my 2nd favorite (the first being the 4th episode) but when I looked back on it I noticed that it was a little over the place. I mean the show has done a really great job at keeping all those different storylines in order, but this episode felt like they didn't have enough time to wrap it up so everything had to fit before the last episode. There were special scenes for Zemo, Karli, Isaiah, Walker, Bucky, Sharon, the Wakandans... Even though all that stuff happened, in the end, all I remembered about this episode was the Sam and Bucky dynamic and of course Isaiah.

Like that Sam and Buck are just playing catch and taking about life

My gripes with this episode:
1. The Wakandans putting Zemo in the raft instead of imprisoning him Wakanda itself which would make any escape attempt futile because the country is difficult to invade.
2. Sam's obvious stunt double during his training montage took me out of the moment.
3. Sam barely made any attempt in talking down a volatile John Walker. He mused in the previous episode that he was counselor for Soldiers suffering trauma and yet when he was given an opportunity to do so he pivoted to asking for the shield which told walker that he didn't want to empathize with him. Sam should have had Bucky wait outside and he should have talked walker down and coax him into willingly relinquishing the shield because of him traumatizing the public. Sam should also add that as a fellow soldier he feels for the loss of a comrade. Therefore Sam should ask John if they can accompany him in bringing Lamar home (this would be gesture of goodwill which would not make John an enemy). John would then be stripped of the mantle of Captain America and rather than him returning the shield to the government he would give it to Sam and Bucky...and just like that there is no conflict or fight and Sam gets the title of Captain America through being a good man rather than beating someone up.
3. The actress who played Contessa was terrible her quips were off putting in that moment and cringe worthy.

I wish the Isaiah scene was legit but the mere existence of Iron Patriot completely destroys that scene.
