A psychotic episode can only be dangerous if the person has a violent personality like my brother. during one of his episodes he pulled a knife out on my dad but thankfully I managed to disarm him.

my dad has schizophrenia and my mums afraid of me because she catches me having full conversations in my room alone so she constantly has to ask me if i am on call with someone

That is amazing! Catching a psychotic episode is EXACTLY what I intend to do. Many of my psychotic episodes are the kind that you and countless others would prefer to contain in mature rated video games and horror movies as a means of containing evil itself.

It really can be dangerous, what I've witnessed was really violent and dangerous

My mother would shout for hours at her bedroom curtains until she was exhausted and this was ignored by her husband due to cultural shame and taboo until she woke the whole house with loud screams coming from my sisters bedroom she had stabbed one of her twin teenage daughter in the neck. He my father remained in denial even after her arrest and mental incarceratation but took another bedroom separate from his wife to save his own arse!
