I know I'm really late, but next time you start a game, or when any of your subscribers get the game from watching this, buy the golden retriever(called the Gold Hog in the US version), get the one with the hose connection. It can be used without a pump, but if you get the loan like Mat did here, and I do, then you can buy a pump set up and be able to just dump dirt in till you have full mats. Also, if you really want it easy, rent the drill machine and survey your whole mine, drilling four holes in each square, while you have the nugget feature on. It'll fund all of your equipment.

This series makes me miss my grandpa so much. He loved panning for gold. Had all sorts of gear. Never understood why, since it was so much work for so little profit. Now I understand it's about the joy of finding something special, and not money.

The new tweaks they added made buying alot more difficult hard mode for instance is truly brutal with breakdowns wich is ok cause its hard mode lol but unless you have mountains of time on ur hands do not expect to beat the veterans in leaderboards right away youll be dissapointed or rage quit haha all in all nice little guide for old patch tho cheers

I bought this game in 2017 (if I remember correctly 🤔) and I can promise you it was just as much of a buggy mess then as it is now. The developers have literally fixed 0, _zero, _*_ZERO_* bugs whatsoever during the past few years. I thought the game was awesome in the start too, but I got hung up on all the small little fuckups, crashing against a leaf, getting a machine stuck and having to reload a save, etc. The incredibly annoying bigs just keep happening and piling on and on and on, and I was fed up. I promise, they haven't patched a single thing since release, so do what you must, but I recommend you only watch this game and that you don't buy it. 😉
