Sheldon seems entirely to miss the point of the anthropic principle. It doesn’t “explain why the universe exists the way it does”; it demonstrates that it’s not an especial mystery that the way it’s disposed seems to favor the existence of humans. The universe doesn’t actually give a fig about humans.

@jessedellross Sheldon was the favorite & the best, as proven by the network making the whole spin-off based on Sheldon, and no network TV would ever do this if the character wasn't popular. Networks have their entire, separate departments for measuring the popularity of shows and characters, that collect data because they wouldn't waste money and produce a whole new show based on a character that isn't popular. But Young Sheldon, so the whole universe based on Sheldon was created because that's how popular Sheldon became. Leonard wasn't even close, because Leonard was boring. You can hate Sheldon all you want, but you apparently can't ignore him because one way or the other he is an interesting character, exactly because of his quirks. So ironic that your constant whining about Sheldon and how awful he is for you, actually proves the writers and creators right, that they wrote Sheldon brilliantly, coz he provokes vast reactions from positive to negative, and that's how good writing works! So as you see, you are in the minority of haters who simply don't get the comedy of TBBT or Sheldon, and that's ok, but just stop your annoying hate 24/7, we already know your opinion. This is the channel for fans of the show, not for the haters.
