Reasonable as always. Kind of insane how he is so often portrayed as some kind of a monster.
One may think some of his decisions are monstrous or not, but he is definitely not a monster.
If there would have been some reasoning added with some giving and taking, there wouldn't have been a war in Ukraine.

President Putin speaks clearly and rationally. Always a breath of fresh air. Didn't know about the tidbit with Bush. Anyway, truly hope President Trump makes this peace deal between Ukraine and Russia a reality.

So that was some time ago: Inbetweentimes we have this Washington Post report of a telephone conversation Trump/Putin in which Trump allegedly warned not to escalate and pointed at 70.000 US soldiers stationed in Europe. I cannot believe that Trump would be so cackhanded - did it happen or didn't it?
PS: Peskov denied it - true?
