Until someone either gets an actual picture or captures one, megs are extinct to me. With the number of ships traveling the ocean and the use of radar, satelite imaging, and sonar, if a meg was out there, it would have more than likely been detected. It might not be identified as a meg, but the anomaly on a screen, picture, or ping, would certainly raise questions and draw research interest. Nothing as big as a meg could stay hidden for long.

No one considers the fact that maybe the tag was eaten and not the shark.

the shark was a 9 footer and it was eaten by a larger one around maybe 18 to 19 feet this was already known yrs ago

Don't forget, scientists don't want to explore the oceans. They want to go to Mars. It's sad in my opimion.

Archiologists /scientists have discovered the megalodon was still alive 11, 000 years ago.

Scientists have no idea What happened to this shark. It's all theories and speculation

I truly believe that the dates that "researchers" put on things is not even close to being right. Researchers and scientists "findings" are only as good as the next grant!

Who says whatever it was swallowed the whole shark?? What if it just bit off the spot where the tag was at?? Makes more sense to me, but I didn't go to college

Maybe the device fell off and was eaten by something else which after awhile threw it up.

I thought this was about, who killed that great white?

If it was 3 feet long when tagged, a few months later it's probably only a foot or two bigger. So, not a adult.

There needs to be a bit of clarification here. The tag white was only 9ft which is a juvenile. Adults are 14-18ft generally with some known exceptions such as the female " Deep Blue" who was 22ft at her last sighting last year. Deep Blue or any other white of comparible size would have no problem swallowing a 9 footer. Most likely is the possibility stated in the video of a Sperm whalebeing the culprit.

Did the shark get into a fight with a giant squid? Then did they get eaten by a sperm whale?

It’s not going to be a Meg at all but I do believe that it is a freak of a great white 30 to 35 foot the size fits right especially if it was eaten whole. The reason why we wouldn’t see it is it’s had a long time to play hide and seek and let’s face it the ocean is there play ground they can hide easily

They found a Meg tooth that was dated to 10000 years. They could absolutely still be alive.
