So they named it Arrakis with severe tooth decay. Brutal.

When he says we *just* discovered this, he means it was discovered back in June of 2014, nearly 10 years ago.

First it's shaped like a snowman, now it's covered in sugar? Literally a giant Christmas cookie.

Nasa's next mission should be to stick a giant carrot on it, a big hat and scarf and something for eyes.

During its formation it actually didn’t collide as the animation shows, but rather gently fused together over time! This is a recent development in our understanding of the solar systems formation known as gentle clumping :)

Nice video but I have just one issue, the two components of Arrokoth did NOT come together in a big bang. It more likely gently nudged together and cuddled into each other, held together by their mutual miniscule gravity. Otherwise they'd be more like a pair of jagged pancakes or even just one big rubble ball.

Why do we expect other forms of life to rely on the same things as we do?

That's a life ingredient floating out there.
