Animania HD Ani-Minis Block Open

Animania was the first all HD animation network. It was really exciting to be a part of its launch. I was a part of a team that developed IDs, bumpers, promos and block opens for the new network.

This piece is an open I made for a block of animated HD shorts. I was trying to emulate the look and feel of micro-photography. I loved how scientists and engineers could create little machines and sculptures out of individual atoms. Composer extraordinaire Steve Mank provided the aural enjoyment.

You made this? That's amazing! If I may ask, what year you made this in and what year it was shown? I've recently become interested in a weird animated short that comes from animinis back in roughly 2004 that has basically no info on the internet. As in it hasn't been seen since it's original airing and is being currently searched for by people who recall seeing it as a kid. I'd love to know if you had any insight on the shorts that actually aired during these "animini" segments :)
