Even at insight week level, the achievements that the competition have are so far up at the top level that it feels impossible to reach. Seeing on LinkedIn, people at oxbridge, LSE etc having done several experiences already since high school, trying for these insight weeks is quite disheartening. Especially when you apply to 15+ banks with a CV that took weeks to prepare and get rejected from all of them. The plight of going to a mid tier university 🤷‍♂️. I want to get my foot in the door but it seems like a catch-22.
