F Major Scale for Trombone (Higher octave)

Показать описание
The higher octave F Major Scale is challenging until your range is wide enough to play the upper notes. (Hint- practice your lip slurs and long tones!) Half of the notes are in 1st position, so that makes it a little easier. When you practice, try to remember to have your slide go a little lower for the high E and F. Those notes are sharp when played in your “normal” positions. This is because of the notes and the horn- not because of you. Ask your teacher about the sixth partial. He or she will give you an explanation you can understand.
If your teacher tells you to play this a different way, listen to your teacher! This video is meant to be used as a reference for when you’re practicing. Your teacher knows you and knows how to help you play your best!
