Does anyone else have issues with the sleep mode. It used to be fine before the update. Now the Do Not Disturb comes on and off as it pleases, I have it in sync with the phone. And now when I press the mode button I have to make another selection of sleep or theater mode. I liked it being two different buttons.

Thank you for this video and for making the directions so easy to understand. I followed the procedure exactly. Before, my battery would drain from 100% to 21% between 7AM and 5PM. Right now, it's been off the charger for about 18.5 hours and it's still at 63%, which is remarkable. Unfortunately, though, I did have to do a reset yesterday because I still could not get the watch and phone to connect. Thankfully, I had a recent backup so I did not lose anything.


Ever since my watch and or Galaxy Flip5 update to ine UI 5, I have had problems, including sleep mode randomly changing. Now, for the past two days, I have not been able to connect the two devices. I have tried everything I know, including clearing the cache on the Wear app, restarting over and over (both devices), uninstalling and reinstalling the Wear app, and doing the "Transfer to New Phone, " all to no avail. I am able to get through to 100% for the install but then the phone shows "Cannot connect to watch." I don't want to do a factory reset, but after spending hours trying to resolve the problem, and watching countless videos, AND reading forums, I feel like that is my only option. Someone please help!

So, I have 5 pro, USA. After watching your video yesterday, I did a factory reset. That fixed my auto brightness problem. I just checked battery usage after a full charge yesterday and it showed Assistant at 27%, Play services at 12%. I just did the clear cache and rechecked battery drain and assistant dropped to 15%, play services at 3.7%. Funny, before auto brightness would not go below 70%, after reset it would go completely dim in ambient light, unusable. Now after clear cache, auto brightness is about normal. Weird stuff going on. I'm giving it a full charge and see where my battery life ends up.

I think GW4 Classic LTE has not received update yet so, it will not work on LTE version for now🤔🤔🤔🤔

How frequent do we need to do this cache wiping?
I have recently purchased a watch 5 pro. The first two battery cycles were 4+ days, then suddenly it went down to around two days. Then based on this video I did the wipe. Again two battery cycles were around 4 days, then now the watch can perform only 2 days with one charge.

Just a suggestion: factory reset your watch and clear cache after updating to One UI 5.0, my Watch 4 classic's battery time has improved.

I always wipe cache partition on my Android devices after an update.
It's a must do
