When i played video games, I always had a lot of gold in the game and my friends asked me why don't I use any of it. I say I keep it for emergencies and I end up not using it. I realized I was playing as optimally as possible.

Hopefully that translates to good financial discipline for me in real life. Because real life emergencies are dire and they will most certainly happen.

I think that the best definition of video games is "Time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted time"

I learned English and started to speak it fluently thanks to games when I was really young. I had no one around me that spoke English at the time.

I'm getting sick of my mom constantly saying "do what you love doing" and then proceeds to get mad at me for playing any game in existence.

Video games taught me that they are waste of time and I can spend my time and energy on better things that are far more rewarding in long term.

😑Dark souls... changed my life. After playing dark souls the game that does not give u any instruction where to go when to go how to go... unforgiving as hell.. doesn't care about player's hard work like real life.. u screwed up.. something at the last moment forget somthing.. well guss what.. u again have to play that hard as hell part where u got stuck for weeks where somehow u managed to cross that part.. now u are screwed. The day i beat that game i know what i am going to do.. CAN DO and WILL DO! i was super bad in maths.. calculas was my worst enemy.. i used to get 23 out of 100 but thanks to dark souls my maths score is 87% now😃

You forgot to mention that in the video games, you might have the choice to save the game, while in real life you don't. That is why some people don't start over and over again because some failures can really break you down...See the difference ?

in the "game of life" you can only play it once. risk it, deal with it, do what ever you want. just remember win OR die.

I think the thing we don’t always realize is that in video games, we have many lives and can choose to restart but in real life, we only have one so that’s probably why people don’t treat it as a game.
