#3dprinter filament rack

I have a great problem, more #3dprinter filament than i can currently store. Lets make a #diy #filament rack thats just like my other two!! #3dprinting

Put the full spools on the top rack and the partials on the bottom to fit into that spacing 👍🏼

If you install the end brackets first, then the connecting rod, you'll be able to use the rod to align the remaining bracket(s).

i use the boxes to store the filament :) they all stack together and are meant to fit filament spools- no holes in the wall just a pile of boxes... with filament. This only applies for the type of box that isnt "flip open" (the esun box at the start of the video) only the sunlu (3rd) box styles work, just cut the lil flap and opening out

I bought A box of Sunlu filament (the 10 pack with various colors) and love it. What I do is, I keep the bag that the individual spools came in as it is a very strong double lock ziplock bag. When I need to store away a spool of filament, I put it back in the bag it came in and put a piece of diatomaceous earth sticks (I bought a 5 pack and break of 2 inch pieces) and then using my vacuum on it. I then remove the air from the bag (I printed a nozzle for my vacuum). This way I can store my filament for long periods without it absorbing moister.

Snap the dowels into the brackets first, then hold it up to the wall fully assembled with a couple rolls of filament on it to judge for spacing, then make a couple marks under the bottom of each bracket so you can put the brackets up there by themselves to screw them into the wall.

This is familiar. The times I have been asked: "Hey can you make me X?" I never let friends pay but they gift me filament sometimes. Your 3D prints look awesome btw. Perfectly tuned 3d printers.
