of the words you mentioned, I did have guesses for GLAMP and PLAYA, wordlebot was not impressed with either

I can't imagine how the correct word just pops out when it appears your brain is scrambling, Mark. It's wonderful fun to watch you get it, though. 👏👏👏
I tried PLAUD and then stared at the puzzle for a good 10 mins before getting it in 4. Quite happy with it. Wordle is cruel.

GLAMP is a word... or at least Wordle accepted it when I guessed that!

I surprised myself getting it in 3: ROAST, PLAIN, PLAZA on the basis quite lot of the words have been a bit tricky lately.
